Alessandro is a successful entrepreneur with a background in cybersecurity. As the founder and CEO of help4u.today, he has built a SaaS platform to assist small businesses with their digital transformation and empower them to succeed. Before starting help4u.today, Alessandro co-founded a social platform startup and had experience as an independent consultant in cybersecurity. In addition to his entrepreneurial experience, Alessandro also has a background in executive leadership, having worked in a multinational company where he oversaw the operations of the Security practice. Holds an MS in Computer Science and an Executive MBA.
Lorenzo is a Full Professor of Computer Science at University College London (UCL), where he leads the Systems Security Research Lab. He grew up on pizza, spaghetti, and Phrack, and soon developed a passion for underground and academic research. Lorenzo's research vision is to enhance the effectiveness of machine learning for systems security in adversarial settings. He works with his team to investigate the interplay between program analysis abstractions, representations, and ML models, and their crucial role in creating Trustworthy AI for Systems Security. Despite his love for food, Lorenzo finds his Flow in science, music, and family.
Andrea is an associate professor of computer science at the Universita` degli studi di Milano in Italy. He has also worked as a senior researcher at Eurecom Graduate School and Research Center in Sophia Antipolis, France. Andrea's research interests focus on various aspects of cybersecurity, including host intrusion detection systems (HIDS), memory error exploits, reverse engineering, malware and forensic analysis. He has recently been studying the use of emulation and virtualization techniques for malware analysis and detection, as well as analyzing large-scale security datasets to investigate the behavior of current cyber threats.
Davide is a full professor and department head of Digital Security Department at the Institut Eurecom, where he has worked for over 14 years. Previously Davide held the position of assistant professor, research engineer and postdoctoral researcher. He completed hid PhD studies at the Politecnico di Milano, and has experience as a research assistant. His research focuses on various aspects of computer science and engineering, including binary and malware analysis, reverse engineering, computer forensics, and web security. Davide is a member of the Order of the Overflow and a founding member of the Shellphish hacking group. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, surfing, hiking, and photography.

Yan Shoshitaishvili, an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University, specializes in cybersecurity research, with a focus on automated program analysis and vulnerability detection. His academic record includes numerous publications in premier venues and the development of angr, a globally used open-source program analysis framework. Beyond academia, he is a Captain Emeritus of Shellphish, one of the world's most longstanding ethical hacking groups, and co-founded the Order of the Overflow, leading DEF CON CTF, the top-tier cybersecurity hacker competition, from 2018-2021. He also champions cybersecurity education, contributing to the CTF RadiOOO podcast, advising CISA's Technical Advisory Council and Hackerbase, and creating pwn.college, a revolutionary open learning platform for prospective hackers.
Class 1984, father, hardcore traveller, wine passionate, kitesurf and snowboard enthusiast, Alberto in 2010 co-founded SOStariffe.it and was CEO until the company was sold in late 2020. Alberto invested in several startups and scaleups through the years and now is even more involved in this role. Today he’s Co-founder of Coverzen a B2B2C platform for insurance distributors. Born in Milan, his career as an entrepreneur started with an event management company, while graduating with a master’s degree in management. Always passionate about entrepreneurship, after this first experience and an internship in Australia, in 2008 started to move towards the creation of a price comparison website.
Aldo Razzino is the Sales Executive at Hackerbase and CEO of Open Data Playground, playing key roles in the steering committee of the Master in Data Science for Economics at UniMI and in the industrial board of the Big Data Lab at CINI. Starting his career in technology recruitment in Italy in 2007, Aldo moved to London where he founded his first company, specializing in STEM headhunting, and then developed his second startup in Italy. This startup created a platform for hackathons and university labs to bridge the gap between education and the workplace, facilitating branding attraction & talent evaluation for clients. His work embodies the fusion of recruiting and STEM profile engagement, driving innovation in HR tech and bringing the research world closer to the business sector. Besides emerging technologies, Aldo is passionate about sports, crystal therapy, and herbalism, and firmly believes in the potential of innovative enterprises embracing new technologies to accelerate and improve their work.
